  • Love it here! I didn’t really expect much since Paik’s is a chain, but the quality and care put into this location is amazing. The tangsuyuk is my favorite item! I like that the sauce is on the side rather than poured on top of the pork as it keeps the the pork’s crispiness. The jajangmyeon is very hearty, savory and filling. The jjamppong reminds me somewhat of tom yum. The broth is light and they are decently generous with the add ins. I would recommend bringing a friend as the items are all pretty filling. But if you’re big and greedy like me, bring a friend just so you can share multiple items to taste everything ^_^ Edit 3/8/25: Came back today and tried the chicken instead and the batter is amazing!!! It’s very similar to a tempura batter, crispy and light. Also tried the chili jajangmyeon (after trying it once before another time) and they’ve stepped it up by adding a chili oil to it instead of just the peppers on top. Definitely prefer the spicy one now because of that.

  • Since people's greed is endless, if you look for the taste you ate in your hometown, it may not satisfy everyone, but among the Korean-style Chinese restaurants I've eaten in the Portland area, it's personally satisfying. The sweet and sour pork made with glutinous rice dough is quite chewy and tasty, and the Jjajangmyun is also quite tasty. Whenever I go there, I always like to order Jjajangmyun and sweet&sour pork together.

  • This place is delicious. I was hooked after my first visit. I love the Meat Jajangmyeon which is pictured here along with the Fried Dumplings. Definitely recommend going here if you have not already. No wait for seating. Less than 10 minutes wait for our food. Place is clean and well managed. Plenty of parking. Outdoor seating available.

  • Cute spot - everything was a little over saturated in flavor. Too salty, too sweet, too gooey, but not necessarily in a bad way. Service was quick & friendly. If you’ve never had Korean-Chinese, I think this is a decent introduction to the fusion of cuisines. The space is tidy, clean, and well managed.
